✈️🌎 Summer Adventure FAQs

Registration is open NOW! Be on the lookout for early bird summer sales while they last!

We recommend enrolling early—summer classes often fill faster than families expect.

We offer two 4-week sessions:

Session I: June 29 – July 23 *Studio closed July 4th

Session II: July 27 – August 20

Families may register for one OR both sessions.

💡 Pro Tip: Many families choose to enroll in BOTH sessions so their child keeps progressing, building friendships, and staying active all summer long. It’s the easiest way to avoid the “mid-summer slump” and maintain momentum going into fall!

At the Academy of Performing Arts we have two convenient studios locations in Franklin and Oak Creek! Some classes are offered at both studios, while others are at one or the other. Please click an individual class to see which studio location it is available at!

This year’s theme is “Let’s Start a Summer Adventure!” ✈️🌴

For our youngest dancers & performers imaginative themes spark creativity and make learning extra fun.

As students grow, classes become more technique-focused. While the theme adds excitement, students are still learning proper, age-appropriate technique each week.

And we want you and your student to be EXCITED for the amazing summer to come!

Our Summer Adventure Mini Sessions are designed to keep dancers & performers:

✔ Moving

✔ Learning

✔ Building confidence

✔ Making friends

Each class meets once per week (unless otherwise noted) and focuses on age-appropriate technique and skill development.

Summer is a wonderful time to:

-Try a new style

-Strengthen technique

-Stay active between school years

-Build confidence in a low-pressure environment

Summer dress code is relaxed and easy! Dancers may wear:

-Comfortable clothing they can move in

-Socks

-Ballet shoes

-Clean gym shoes (for hip hop and similar styles)

No special attire required — just come ready for fun! But dancewear and shoes are available at the studio for purchase if you'd like them (or to get ready early for Fall classes!)

Summer tuition is a one-time payment per session — and there is NO membership fee.

4-Week Session Pricing:

-30-minute class: $51

-40-minute class: $61

-55-minute class: $71

Simple. Flexible. No long-term commitment!

Nope! Each session is just 4 weeks long.

Many families love enrolling in both sessions so their child enjoys 8 full weeks of consistency, confidence-building, and friendships — without a full-season commitment.

It’s the perfect balance of flexibility and growth!
